Customer Privacy
We do not rent or loan our mailing list to anyone. If we take your phone number it is only to call you in case of a problem with an order. We don't telemarket. If for some reason you don't wish to receive any mailings from us, simply let us know and we'll delete you from our customer list.

Online Security
We utilize secure sockets layer encryption technology (SSL) for the transmission of all credit card information. Our shopping cart software is a state-of-the-art system with numerous safeguards, including keyed encryption which only allows your order to be seen by our computer. Once we receive your order, your credit card information is not held on any computer connected to the Internet. Our Thawte security certificate is registered by DataPipe which manages our web server.

Out-of-Stock Items
More than 99% of all orders ship in their entirety within 36 hours. We try very hard to keep a large supply of everything. However, many of these titles are from small publishers or overseas publishers. Books often go out of print and promises from publishers of "weeks" turn into months. Books we bring in from overseas take about two months just to get to us. We try to anticipate demand and stock up, but that's easier said than done.

If you order over the phone, you'll be told when you order if something is out of stock. If you order by mail or fax, you'll receive a letter if we can't ship your item within four weeks. After eight weeks, we'll refund your money, unless you tell us to hold the order until the item arrives. Credit card orders will not be charged until the item ships.

Gift Orders
We can send subscriptions, books, wearables, etc. to your friends and include a card stating that it is a gift from you. Also, we can send gift certificates in any denomination, accompanied by a complete list of our new offerings. Sorry, no gift wrapping available.

Taxes, Duties, Customs Charges
We charge 8.25% sales tax on orders shipped to Texas addresses (books and tapes only; subscriptions are exempt). Customs charges, duties and brokerage charges are the responsibility of recipient. We will mark every package with manufacturing cost and label as educational materials. If you have specific instructions, please indicate with your order (your own brokerage account, etc.).

Libraries
We will gladly extend credit to U.S. public and institutional libraries upon the receipt of a valid written purchase order. We offer free shipping to libraries in the United States that prepay their order. Libraries outside the U.S. will be charged actual shipping charges if their order is prepaid (fax for quote of shipping cost); standard shipping charged if invoiced.

Bookstores & Resellers
Bonafide bookstores and resellers write or call to request our trade catalog, discount schedule, STOP order policy, etc. This only applies to books we publish.
